Winter Farmers’ Market Returns to Hampshire Mall!
Hadley, MA – The Amherst Winter Farmers’ Market returns to Hampshire Mall this season with a new name!
The Winter Farmers’ Market at the Hampshire Mall will run every Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm in the Target wing, from December 7-March 21. All winter long, fresh vegetables and fruit, meat, cheese, bread, crafts, and more will be available from local farmers and craftspeople.
“We are thrilled the market will be returning for the third year in a row,” said Lynn Gray, General Manager of Hampshire Mall. “This association embodies our continued commitment to supporting local businesses while also creating an exciting event for our shoppers.”
Cathleen O’Keefe, Managing Owner of the market, “loves the mix of farm, craft, music, and community. We have a few new local vegetable vendors coming to market this year, which is wonderful to see after the horrible season our vegetable growers had in 2018.”
One of the seasonal vendors, Adele Smith-Penniman, describes the market perfectly as “a setting that fosters community– filled with beautiful, healthy food, artistic crafts, and plenty of neighbors and strangers to greet.”
Some of the vendors participating this season include Apex Orchards, Atlas Farm, Berkshire Mountain Bakery, Chase Hill Farm, Stoneybrook Cider, and many more! SNAP/HIP benefits are accepted.
