Holiday Giving Opportunities at Hampshire Mall
Hadley, MA – ‘Tis the season for giving and there are a number of opportunities at Hampshire Mall for people who want to donate to a good cause during the holidays.
The Center for Human Development’s MaryAnne’s Kids Fund currently has their Giving Tree on display near Bath & Body Works. Each tag on the tree represents one wish from an individual child in need. Customers are invited to purchase the gift on the tag, and bring unwrapped presents with the tag attached to the Mall Management Office, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, or to the Security Office at any time. The CHD’s Giving Tree will be at Hampshire Mall through December 24th.
The Granby Preservation Society will be offering gift wrapping services in Café Square near PiNZ from Tuesday, December 18th through Sunday, December 23rd between the hours of 3:00pm-8:00pm and from 10:00am-3:00pm on Monday, December 24th. The mission of the Granby Preservation Society is to preserve, restore, and maintain the historic buildings within the town of Granby, Massachusetts, and all proceeds will go to the painting fund for Kellogg Hall.
PetSmart is holding an in-store toy drive and collecting donations through its Holiday Philanthropic Collection. Through December 24th, 10% of all sales of their Chance and Friends plush toy line will be donated to PetSmart Charities to help pets in need. Shoppers can choose from Chance the Dog, Lucky the Cat, Dream the Lamb, or Hope the Bunny for $5 each. Shoppers can also buy one of the four plush toys to place in the donation bin located at the front of the store. All donations collected will be given to Baystate Children’s Hospital in time for Christmas.
