Hampshire Mall Offers Great Savings During Tax-Free Holiday Weekend!
After two years without a sales tax holiday, Massachusetts shoppers will once again be able to take advantage of tax-free savings on August 11th-12th, 2018.
Whether looking for back-to-school items, a new piece of jewelry, or a brand new grill, it’s a great weekend to shop at Hampshire Mall. The state’s 6.25 percent sales tax will be deducted from single purchases priced up to $2,500, excluding restaurant meals, cars, and all forms of tobacco. Combined with ongoing promotions and coupons, there are some major deals to be had.
For those heading off to college soon, JCPenney and Target have everything students might need to be move-in ready, from dorm room accessories and furniture, to bedding and bath, and more. Younger students can get prepared for their first day of school with backpacks, lunchboxes, and school supplies. Target and T-Mobile are both great options for electronics like smartphones and tablets.
There’s still plenty of summertime left to enjoy, and Dick’s Sporting Goods has camping equipment, kayaks, and sports gear for outdoor enthusiasts. It’s also the perfect time to consider other big ticket items such as fitness equipment.
For shoppers looking to treat themselves while still saving money, Hannoush Jewelers is currently holding an estate sale, which will run through August 12th. Customers can enjoy storewide savings up to 60% off, summer clearance on Gift-ology items, and bring in their old jewelry for cash or to put toward new purchases.
The tax-free weekend is also a great opportunity to stock up on essentials like lotions, perfume, and other beauty products at Bath & Body Works and the new Sephora Inside JCPenney.
Hampshire Mall will be open from 10:00am-9:00pm on Saturday, August 11th, and 11:00am-6:00pm on Sunday, August 12th. So shoppers can get the most out of the tax-free weekend, JCPenney has extended their hours, and will be open from 9:00am-9:00pm on Saturday, August 11th. Please check with individual anchor stores directly that may have alternate hours.
